The Healthcare Incubator

Training, clinics, medical technology and innovation, built together so patients in growing emerging markets get European-standard care.

One doctor can’t change a health system. An incubator can.

ROEYA HealthCare was founded in 2015 by Prof. Mostafa Ibrahim. ROEYA means “vision” in Arabic. We build the parts a health system needs side by side: training, clinical care, medical technology and innovation. Everyone in that chain, from the patient to the partner company, should come out ahead.

How the four units feed each other Training builds skills, Scope delivers care, Import brings technology, Innovation produces evidence, which flows back into training. Training Scope Import Innovation ROEYA HealthCare builds skills delivers care brings technology produces evidence
Each unit feeds the next.
  • Training goes to the doctor

Our mobile training center works in doctors’ own countries instead of asking them to travel to learn.

  • Open, not monopolistic

We sell the technology we import openly to any hospital, and we invite outside experts, even competitors, to teach and take part.

  • An ecosystem, not a supplier

ROEYA is a hub for research, funding and new ideas: an incubator for the medical sector.

Four units, one group

Together they cover the whole path, from a doctor’s training to a patient’s care. ROEYA Talks, our podcast, tells the stories behind it.

ROEYA Training Center

Simulation-based endoscopy training that travels to doctors in their own countries, then helps them put each new procedure into practice in their own hospital.

How we train

  • Hands-on courses on simulators
  • Fellowships at expert hospitals
  • Mentorship in the trainee’s own hospital

ROEYA Import

Brings new GI and endoscopy technology to the region and sells it openly to any hospital, starting with MiroCam capsule endoscopy.

Website coming soon. Follow ROEYA Import on LinkedIn

ROEYA Innovation

Multicenter research and the incubation of new ideas, in a region short of research infrastructure.

Recent studies include mobile endoscopy training across emerging markets and a multicenter Middle Eastern trial of computer-aided polyp detection. New logo and website to follow.

Vision, mission and values

Our vision

European-standard healthcare for every patient in growing emerging markets.

Our mission

Train the region’s doctors where they work, treat patients to European standards, bring proven technology in and build the research the region lacks, in partnership rather than in competition.

  • Mutual benefit

The patient, the doctor, the trainer, the trainee and the partner company should all receive the best service and the best return.

  • People first

We invest in young talent first, and we treat everyone on the team as an equal.

  • Faithful persistence

Plant the sapling even if the world ends tomorrow. We keep building: “push, push, push, and smile.”
